 FAMILY FUN ON THE RIVER FOR ALL GENERATIONS!  Relax, swim, and play on the sandy beaches of the Upper Colorado River.  Watch the river banks and clouds roll by as the kids splash in the gentle water.  This is family bonding time at its best!  For families with kids in different age groups we are able to add some more excitement for the adventuresome teens by providing a small raft that they paddle themselves behind the main boat.  The Upper Colorado raft trip spends about 1.5 to 2 hours on the river, but plan on about 4 hours our of your day with drive time. Once you're out here you won’t want to go home.

BROWNS CANYON:  Transportation is available for morning trips. Ages 10+

FAMOUS, FUN, REMOTE AND EXCITING CANYON!  Browns Canyon boasts a fast current and 14,000 ft. mountains.  Watch as the granite canyons rise up as the river drops steeper and steeper.  Paddle, laugh, splash and paddle some more in crystal clear mountain water.  Browns Canyon is Class III whitewater at its definitive best!  Yes, this is the most popular and famous of all river runs in Colorado. Browns Canyon offers a great trip you don’t want to miss.  Drive to our base just north of Buena Vista (appropriately named) about 1.5 hours from Vail / Beaver Creek.  Dress at our comfortable full service base at Fishermans Bridge.  Wetsuits, life jackets, helmet, booties and splash-jackets are provided.  Ride with us about 10 minutes to the put-in, spend 1.5 to 2 hours on the water, then return to Buena Vista for your photos, t-shirts and other souvenirs.  You are then free to explore the area: hot springs, high mountain passes, the Continental Divide, and maybe a trip to the underprivileged town of Aspen.  The sky is the limit! 

Browns Canyon Full Day Trip:

Sage Outdoor Adventures will pick you up around  8:30 am (depending on your location). Plan on returning around 4:30PM. A light snack will be provided at the put-in and a chicken fajita lunch will be served at the end of your rafting adventure.

THRILLING CLASS lV TECHNICAL RAPIDS, SPECTACULAR SCENERY, 14,000 FOOT PEAKS, TEAMWORK A MUST! 
Experience eight sets of awesome rapids on a gorgeous section of the Arkansas River located just 12 miles north of Buena Vista.  From our base, we get you suited up, do a safety talk and board our vehicles to head out for the river.  Once on the river get ready for some of the most spectacular scenery and whitewater action Colorado has to offer.  After the river trip, be sure to take some time to explore Buena Vista or take a ride on the historic Leadville Railroad.

1/2 Day Numbers Trip

UNIQUE, TECHNICAL, CONSTANT ACTION, STEEP GRADIENT MOUNTAIN RIVER!  Vail Valley’s back yard thrill run.  Close to home, tons of technical water and beautiful scenery to enjoy if you have a minute to look up.  The headwaters of our local mountain valley  offers the experienced paddler an exhilarating stretch filled with nonstop action. You'll still have time to get in a great bike ride or a round of golf after the trip.  Lots of Class III and mild IV rapids beginning in Eagle Vail and ending in Edwards.

Sage picks up around 9:30 and 1:30 (depending on your location) - $79
